1. General Terms By enrolling in Enlighten786 Home Tutor Academy (“Academy”), you agree to the following terms and conditions. The Academy reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Any changes will be communicated to students and parents/guardians.
2. Enrollment & Fees
- Enrollment is confirmed upon receipt of the agreed payment for the selected course or tutoring package.
- Fees must be paid in advance as per the agreed schedule. Failure to make timely payments may result in the suspension of services.
- Fees are non-refundable unless agreed upon under special circumstances as determined by the Academy.
3. Scheduling & Cancellations
- Students must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule or cancel a tutoring session.
- Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged at the full session rate.
- The Academy reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a session due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., tutor availability). In such cases, a make-up session will be arranged.
4. Attendance & Punctuality
- Students are expected to attend all scheduled sessions on time.
- Persistent lateness or missed sessions without prior notice may result in the discontinuation of tutoring services.
5. Student Conduct
- Students are expected to maintain respectful and professional behavior during sessions.
- Any form of disruptive behavior, disrespect towards tutors, or violation of policies may result in termination of services without refund.
6. Tutor Responsibilities
- Tutors will provide personalized instruction tailored to the student’s needs.
- Tutors are not responsible for guaranteeing specific academic results, but will support students to the best of their abilities.
7. Academic Integrity
- Enlighten786 Academy promotes academic honesty and integrity. Tutors will not complete assignments, exams, or other tasks on behalf of students.
- The Academy is not responsible for any consequences arising from academic dishonesty.
8. Confidentiality
- Personal information provided by students and parents will be kept confidential and will not be shared with third parties without prior consent, except as required by law.
9. Liability
- The Academy and its tutors are not liable for any direct or indirect loss, damage, or injury arising from tutoring sessions, except where caused by negligence.
10. Changes to Services
- The Academy reserves the right to alter course content, session schedules, or tutor assignments to improve the quality of education or in response to availability.
11. Termination of Services
- Either party may terminate the tutoring arrangement with prior notice. Refunds will be issued at the Academy’s discretion if applicable.
